About
ISO work, from Kampala.
I am a mechanical engineering graduate of Makerere University. The work I do now is quality, environment, health and safety, and food safety: implement the system, audit it, and train the people who will run it.
I am Lead Auditor and Managing Director at NAM QMS (opens in a new tab). I also consult with IQS Management Systems and maintain the ISO 17025 system at Terya Construction Laboratory. Since 2023 I have audited more than 40 companies. Separately, I have trained 12+ lead auditors.
I write software as well, including VendorVett (opens in a new tab), a vendor due-diligence product. Earlier I worked on enterprise networks. That technical work sits with the consulting.
I founded ECAFU Initiative Uganda, a nonprofit in Kyotera District for youth and women empowerment through education and entrepreneurship. ECAFU partners with 3 schools.

Audits & management review
ESHS and ISO 17025 internal audits, observation and non-conformance reports, and management review with the people who own the actions.
Lead auditor training
Training on ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 22000. 12+ lead auditors trained. That figure is trainees, not companies audited.
Lead Auditor certificates: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018 through TNV / Exemplar Global (February 2026); ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 through IQS Uganda. ISO 17025 is an internal auditor certificate, also through IQS Uganda.
